Let the Journey Begin
Here we go. Let me start out by saying that I'm old, fat, tired and set in my ways. The set in my ways part will have to change to get this done. Can I do 20-30 pounds of weight loss in six months? Why not. Shooting for 30 or really 33 to get me to 200 pounds. Had a couple of nice healthy meals which needs to become three meals. Need to do the breakfast thing. Did 48 minutes and over three miles on the treadmill at One Wellness where my friend Mark Percassi, who owns it, assures me I will not collapse on his watch. What did we ever do without an IPod? It's close to the stadium so no excuses for not working out. My co-workers at the Captains are behind me on this and have been very encouraging. Or so I thought. At our staff meeting today the fresh baked cookies arrived. Must be testing me. Happy to report, did not cave in. Stopped by the Tavern that I own after the workout. Had one quick lite beer. Normally would have had a few more than that but that was the treat for the day. Day one down. Stay tuned as I am trying to finalize a plan to make this journey also benefit a local charity. Thats' where I may need your help.
