Holiday weekend

Looking forward to three days off.  Yes three days off!  Golfing in the morning then our son Mike comes home in the afternoon.  Looking forward to that.  Still doing well with the new lifestyle.  Weight has been steady for a week or so.  That’s’ good considering what my schedule has been like.  Still trying to get out and go walking.  Hopefully this weekend.  Been attending a fair amount of Tribe games.  The guys are playing well.  Let’s hope they keep it up.  Have a nice and safe holiday weekend.

Nothing new

Staying the course.  Eating well and baseball..mostly baseball.  Next day off is Saturday May 26 and my son Mike comes home from Hollywood for a week.  Can’t wait!  I’ll have three days off in a row which is a rarity.  Still hanging at 210 or so on my scale so down 22 pounds.  I can see the 200 pound mark in my sights.  Going walking tonight for the first time in a while.  Looking forward to that.

Game Time

Just a few minutes before our Friday game here at Classic Park so I thought I’d get this out.  In the middle of 19 straight work days here with the Captains and 31 out of the last 32 days.  Gorgeous day here and a nice crowd is expected.  Been spending the week putting the finishing touches on the Beer Festival that is here on June 9.  No Light beer that day!  Will have to be careful.  Going to fire up the grill on Sunday and Tuesday as we have day games.  Looking forward to that.  I appear to be down around 210-211 which would put me down over 20 pounds.  Going well.  People are noticing since the weather is good enough to not wear a jacket.  That feels good.  Staying the course and still eating well but still enjoying a beverage or three.  This process has been relatively painless.  Take care.

Day Off

Sunday will be the first day since Christmas Day where I do not have to be anywhere.  I don’t do nothing very well but I hope that I can figure out tomorrow.  I hear there may be a yard or so of mulch headed my way so that may take care of tomorrow.  It will be good exercise, so that is a positive.  Still staying the course with my eating habits so all is good.  Hope to get some walking in this week as well.

Pretty Close

Well, the weigh in went pretty much as I had hoped.  Down to 215.2 and my goal was 215.  I’ll take it.  April is my busiest month of the year between baseball and running the Rumpus Room.  Not much time for exercise but still kept up my pretty good eating habits.  My business partner starts running the day to day operations at the bar tomorrow so that will free up a lot of time to hit the streets walking and just relaxing in general.  I think between this and my diet, I hope to make great strides this month.  My goal is to be down to 210 by the next weigh.  That would be a high water mark in weight loss for a month.  I think I can get it done.
